As per Luxembourg Labor Law, salaries are adjusted in line with the evolution of the costs of living (indexation) - if the consumer price index increases by 2.5% during the previous semester, salaries are normally adjusted by the same proportion.

Salaries for seasonal pilots are determined based on flight hours accumulated with scheduled airlines.
Every 1,000 flight hours completed will grant an additional salary scale within the Luxair Salary Grid for pilots.

Monthly flight allowances vary based on the schedule, typically adding an extra 6-7% to the gross salary, completely tax-free.

- 20€ for duties up to 6 hours.
- 30€ for duties over 6 hours.

Yes. However, the position is based in Luxembourg. Luxair offers relocation packages. If you are a citizen living in the EU or in one of the European Free Trade Association countries, you can become a Luxair pilot. In addition, we do also consider NON-EU applicants.

No, English is the common working language, also the entire training is in English. French, German, Luxemburgish, and other languages are just a plus, but not a mandatory requirement.

No, Luxair pre-finances your entire flight school training expenses up to an amount of 80.000€ AND pre-finances your housing costs with up to 24.000€ for your entire training duration.

Luxair does not impose any such restrictions on participants joining the program. However, we recommend that the students focus 100% on their training.
